As a general thought, women are always known for their beauty, elegance, demureness, and softness. Several times boys mock at each other and say “fight like a girl.” The reason is that women are hardly comparable to men in physical power. If you still think the same, you are wrong! Because here, we are going to meet those Special 41 women commandos who will protect Delhi against terrorism.
These 41 women are from Northeast India and will be deployed into Delhi Police for controlling the situation in terror strike and hostage. These women will be a part of “Prakaram” vans, launched by Police Commissioner, Amulaya Patnaik. These vans are stationed at Palika Bazaar, Vasant Kunj Mall, Lotus Temple, Jhandewalan, Netaji Subhash Place, Vijay Chowk, Saket, and Akshardham Temple.
These best 41 commandos have undergone a rigorous police training for 10 months and currently undergoing a 4 months advance commando training at Jharoda Kalan (South West Delhi). Here, these ladies will learn to operate heavy weapons like pistols, revolvers, AK-47 etc. And, after completing the training, they will be employed into Delhi Police. AAJKINAARI salutes these women who have proven themselves that they are really tough and are not lagging behind men at all. These 41 women are competent enough to handle the situation like terrorism and hostage.
