Oval Face Shape

You can identify whether your face is oval by looking for these features. If your forehead is slightly wider than your chin. If your face length is larger than your width of the cheekbone and your cheeks are round then you have an oval face.
Since your face length is long, vertical and long bindis are a big no, as it will give your face a much more elongated look than needed. Small and rounded bindis will balance the length of the face and will add up to your elegance. You can try bindis of any shape other than a long one and you are ready to step out and rock the world.

Round Face Shape

If your cheekbones and face length have similar measurements and your cheeks are round with no or little edge then you have a round face. The cheeks will be larger than the forehead hence to give you an elongated look, vertical and long bindi will be advised. This will give your face an all-round proportionate look. If you keep your bindi color matched with your lipstick then it will oomph up your look. Try different hairstyles to deck up the traditional style and you are ready to pump up the ramp!

Heart Face Shape

If you have a heart-shaped face then your defining feature will be your jawline that angles to create a heart like shape. Your forehead should be wide and cheeks are generally rounded. Your chin and jawline will be narrow as compared to your forehead. So a tiny bindi would be preferred to balance the proportion of your face. Don’t go for big ones because it will draw attention to the wide forehead. A tiny dot between your brows is all you need to rock your traditional style.

Square Face Shape

Bindi square shape

Your defining feature is your strong, edgy jawline and high cheekbones which are a die for feature among girls. Your measurement of the forehead and the jawline would be similar, which creates the square structure of your face.  The face structure will be wide and tall, so neither tall nor small bindis will balance the proportion. A ‘v’ shaped bindi or an eclipse shaped bindi is neither tall nor small, it accentuates the edges to make it look well balanced. You can mostly see the Marathis wearing a ‘v’ shaped bindi. You can try on some other pattern of bindi which is neither tall nor small to balance the edginess of your face. Try to highlight your cheekbones and if you match the rouse on your cheekbones with that of the bindi, it will make the look more elegant.

Diamond  or Triangular Face Shape

If you have a Diamond shaped face then you will have a larger face length as compared to other features. Your forehead will be small and the jawline strong and edgy. If you have a triangular shaped face then you will have a large jawline and a small cheekbone. Since the face length is considerably large you can go for either a big or a small bindi. You need not fret about the shape or size of the bindi. Any style will suit your face. Long, big or small you need not choose as your face shape proportions with anything you wear. Highlight your cheekbones and apply a matching lipstick and you are ready to rock the traditional style.

Some women fear the fire while some women become it sin. Let the red bindi on your forehead be the symbol of fire inside you. Be one of a kind.

Don’t let the situation suppress you, show your rebellion through the red mark between your brows and prove them wrong. Be beautiful, be bold.
